1)What is "Auction Grade" ?

"Auction Grade" is a widely used system to state the condition of used vehicles
in most of the Japanese auto auctions.
We use the same grading system to show the condition of vehicles at Papera.

Below are descriptions of each grade.

1.0: damaged by hail stones or flood

  2.0: requires repainting work

  3.0: additional repainting work required

  3.5: between 3 and 4

4.0: minor dents, some line scratches

5.0: as close to new as possible as the vehicle without any scratches

Papera Standard is between 4.0 to 4.5

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at papera@papera.co.jp

Thank you.

Best regards,
PAPERA TRADERS CO., LTD.

2) "Stolen Parts at the Port of Destination"

There have been some cases reported of parts stolen at the port of destination.
Unfortunately we cannot do anything about this as it is beyond our reach and control.
However, there are some tips you might want to take in to consideration.

1. Make a balance payment quickly
Since the original documents will be dispatched upon the confirmation of balance cleared, it is important to clear the balance quickly so that you will receive the documents on time, which leads to quick clearance of the car at the port. If the car stays at the port longer, there is more possibility of theft.

2. Assign the CFS if you have any preference
Some customers have their preferred CFS at the port of destination because they believe it will reduce the possibility of theft, accident, or for other positive reasons. If you have any preferred CFS, please tell our sales representative "AT THE TIME OF THE RESERVATION" of the vehicle. (If you try to assign the CFS after the shipping arrangements, the shipping company will charge you US$20 to US$30 amendment fee.)

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Papera Traders Co., Ltd.
